What to do when you are buying your first home:

• Meet with a lender and determine what financing options are available to you and how much you can afford.
• Learn more about financing programs for first time buyers and what your agent can do for you.
• Work with a Realtor™, preferably a Buyer Representative. As your Realtor® I will work to earn your trust and confidence so you can:
  • Take advantage of my knowledge and experience in the housing market.
  • Evaluate the value and price of all potential homes currently for sale.
  • Structure an acceptable offer. Manage all the details from your accepted offer to the sale.
  • Avoid pitfalls. I will offer advice and guidance along the way.
  • Avoid unnecessary costs. More advice and guidance.
  • Understand the laws of agency, the importance of a Sellers Property Information Report and why competent service providers (your home inspector and mortgage originator, for instance) spell the difference between a great buying experience and a not so great experience.
